Donna Korn and Jennifer Gemma Bring 1551 Sawgrass Centre to 96 Percent Leased

SUNRISE, FL, March 30, 2017Cushman & Wakefield announced today that it has negotiated two new office leases at 1551 Sawgrass Centre in Sawgrass Corporate Park totaling nearly 35,000 square feet.

The office leasing team of Managing Director Donna Korn and Director Jennifer Gemma represented Houston-based building owner M-M Properties, Inc. in securing leases with Hamilton Group Funding, Inc. and Allergan Sales, LLC.

Hamilton Group Funding, Inc. is a national independent mortgage lender headquartered in Sunrise. The company signed a 24,523-square-foot, full-floor lease and is expected to relocate from 13650 NW 8th Street in September 2017. JLL’s Rod Loschiavo and Lauren Gallart represented Hamilton Group Funding, Inc. in the transaction.

Allergan Sales, LLC is a subsidiary of Dublin, Ireland-based Allergan, a global pharmaceutical company that employs more than 16,000 people in 100 countries and markets a wide portfolio of branded pharmaceuticals, devices and biologic products to patients around the world. Allergan Sales, LLC leased 10,337 square feet at 1551 Sawgrass Centre, where it will house a new stateside sales office. Allergan Sales, LLC is expected to occupy the space in April. CBRE’s Ryan Nunes represented Allergan Sales, LLC in the lease negotiations.

1551 Sawgrass Center is a 92,243-square-foot, Class A office building developed in 1997. The asset offers ample parking, signature building signage fronting Sawgrass Expressway and on-site management and leasing offices. These two leases bring 1551 Sawgrass Center to 96 percent occupancy.

The building is located in Sawgrass Corporate Park at 1551 Sawgrass Corporate Parkway. This location offers exceptional access to Sawgrass Mills Mall, the BB&T Center and surrounding retail, dining and lodging while providing excellent accessibility via Interstate 75, Interstate 595 and the Sawgrass Expressway.
