Chris Metzger, Richard F. Etner Jr., Christopher Thomson and Matthew G. McAllister Negotiated a ±21,000-Square-Foot Relocation Lease with Office Reworks
POMPANO BEACH, FL, April 28, 2017 — Cushman & Wakefield announced today that it has negotiated a ±21,000-square-foot industrial warehouse and distribution lease with Office Reworks in the newly developed Pompano Center of Commerce II.
Executive Director Chris Metzger, Executive Director Richard F. Etner Jr., Executive Director Christopher Thomson, and Director Matthew G. McAllister represented building owner Pompano Industrial Venture, LLC in securing the first lease at the new campus. Pompano Industrial Venture, LLC is a joint development between Butters and an institutional capital partner.
Office Reworks, a South Florida-based nationwide dealer of premium new, used and refurbished office furniture and cubicles, leased 21,039 square feet in Building 6 of Pompano Center of Commerce II, located at 1550 NW 18th Street. The company is expanding from their previous 15,000-square-foot location on South Powerline Road in Deerfield Beach. They will relocate their office, warehouse and distribution operations to Pompano Center of Commerce II by October of this year. Office Reworks was represented by Thomas Hotz of Butters Realty & Management LLC.
Pompano Center of Commerce II is a five-building warehouse and distribution campus totaling 376,644 square feet. The single-story buildings feature 24’ to 32’ clear heights, ESFR (Early Suppression, Fast Response) fire safety systems, T-5 lighting, four dock-high doors per bay and build-to-suit opportunities. Tenancy at the new campus is available as soon as 3Q 2017.
Pompano Center of Commerce II is centrally located in South Florida’s tri-county area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The campus provides immediate access to Interstate 95 and Florida’s Turnpike with the Sawgrass Expressway just minutes away.
