Cushman & Wakefield Negotiates Six Leases Totaling ±132,798 SF in Pompano Beach

The Team of Chris Metzger, Richard F. Etner Jr., Christopher Thomson and Matthew G. McAllister Have Now Fully Leased Buildings Six, Seven and Eight at the Pompano Center of Commerce

POMPANO BEACH, FL, July 25, 2019Cushman & Wakefield has negotiated six industrial leases totaling ±132,798 square feet at Pompano Center of Commerce II, a new warehouse and distribution center developed by Butters Construction & Development in Broward County.

The South Florida Industrial Brokerage Team of Chris Metzger, Richard F. Etner Jr., Christopher Thomson and Matthew G. McAllister represented Pompano Industrial Venture, LLC, a joint development between Butters Construction & Development and an institutional capital partner, in securing leases with Milestone Pavers, Empire Delivery, Larsen’s Manufacturing Company, Farco Plastics, Event Effects Group and ATI Electrical Supply.

The leases bring Pompano Center of Commerce II’s existing buildings (Six, Seven and Eight), comprising a total of ±318,062 square feet, to full occupancy. Details of the newly signed leases can be found below:

Milestone Pavers

Milestone Pavers is a family owned business based in South Florida offering high-quality travertine and marble pavers at factory-direct prices. The company leased ±14,640 square feet in Building Six for a showroom and distribution warehouse.

Dalton Easton of The Easton Group represented Milestone Pavers in the lease negotiations.

Empire Delivery

Empire Delivery, a third party logistics company for the furniture industry, leased ±26,605 square feet in Building Seven. Newmark Knight Frank represented Empire Delivery in the lease negotiations.

Larsen’s Manufacturing

Larsen’s Manufacturing Company leased ±17,436 square feet in Building Seven for a manufacturing facility. Larsen’s has produced fire safety equipment for worldwide distribution since 1958. The company has two manufacturing facilities, one in Minnesota and the other at Pompano Center of Commerce II.

Cushman & Wakefield’s McAllister represented Larsen Manufacturing in the lease negotiations.

Farco Plastics

Farco Plastics leased ±17,381 square feet in Building Seven. The company distributes plastics, adhesives and sealants for a wide variety of industries and has six offices throughout Florida, Alabama and Tennessee.

Crystal Jutte and Steve O’Hara of Mohr Partners negotiated the lease on behalf of Farco Plastics.

Event Effects Group

Event Effects Group leased ±37,786 square feet in Building Eight. Event Effects Group is a full-service production company providing sound, lighting, decor and furniture for events throughout South Florida.

Whitney Carr-Peterson of Las Olas Real Estate Professionals represented Event Effects in the lease negotiations.

ATI Electrical Supply

ATI Electrical Supply, a distributor of electrical products, leased ±18,950 square feet in Building Eight. Josh Robbie and Zak Mirkowski of Savills represented ATI Electrical Supply in the lease negotiations.

Pompano Center of Commerce II is a four-building warehouse and distribution campus totaling ±376,644 square feet. The single-story buildings at Pompano Center of Commerce II feature 24’ to 32’ clear heights, ESFR (Early Suppression, Fast Response) fire safety systems, LED lighting and dock-high loading.

Three of the buildings have been constructed and the fourth, Building Nine, is currently under construction. Building Nine, slated for ±61,832 square feet with dock- and grade-level loading and 32-foot clear heights, is expected to be delivered in 1Q 2020.

Pompano Center of Commerce II is centrally located at 1550, 1600, 1650 and 1700 NW 18th St. in South Florida’s Tri-County area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The campus provides immediate access to Interstate 95 and Florida’s Turnpike with the Sawgrass Expressway just minutes away.
