Gordon and Bittel Have More Than 40 Years of Combined Experience, Closing More than 27 Million Square Feet of Transactions Valued at Nearly $1.5 Billion
MIAMI, May 2, 2017 — Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the commercial brokerage team of Executive Director Stuart T. Gordon, SIOR, Director Matthew A. Bittel, SIOR, and Brokerage Coordinator Yesenia Soto has joined the firm.
The team comes to Cushman & Wakefield from Flagler, where they established themselves as one of the preeminent industrial, land and office sales and leasing teams in South Florida. Gordon, Bittel and Soto will operate out of Cushman & Wakefield’s Miami office.
Gordon and Bittel have more than four decades of combined experience in South Florida’s commercial real estate market, focusing their efforts on industrial, land and office sales as well as tenant and landlord representation. The team has closed more than 27 million square feet of transactions valued at nearly $1.5 billion.
The team’s client list includes AEW Capital Management, Blackstone, FedEx, Ryder, PriceSmart, Lagasse, AAAA, Inc., Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Hughes Supply. Gordon and Bittel also managed the marketing and leasing of Flagler Station, South Florida’s largest business park consisting of 5 million square feet of industrial, office and retail space.

Gordon is a 30-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, spending the past 20 years at Flagler. He is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF). Gordon has received numerous awards, including NAIOP Industrial Broker of the Year and Real Estate Forum Nation’s Leading Dealmakers. He is a graduate of the University of Miami.
Bittel, a Miami native, has been active in South Florida’s commercial real estate market for 12 years. He is a member of SIOR, NAIOP and CIASF. Bittel serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committees of numerous organizations, including the United Way of Miami-Dade’s Young Leaders and the University of Miami’s Citizen’s Board. Bittel is a graduate of the University of Central Florida.
Soto spent the past nine years at Flagler where she assisted Stuart and Bittel with property marketing, business development, client relations and lease management. She is a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate and studied at the University of Miami and Miami Dade College.
